AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has urged his side to face the Torino game with ‘concentration and determination’, while admitting that Olivier Giroud is feeling the emotions of his imminent farewell.

This could be Pioli’s penultimate match in charge of Milan and the team will be hoping to give the fans one final away performance to cheer this season, and to build on the 5-1 win from last Saturday night.

He has named quite an intriguing starting line-up for the game with the likes of Davide Calabria, Mike Maignan, Rafael Leao and Giroud all left out, while Pierre Kalulu, Yunus Musah, Noah Okafor, Filippo Terracciano and Luka Jovic are all started.

There are no objectives left for Milan to fight for given that they have locked up second place in the table, however the Granata are hoping to keep their European dream alive with a victory.

Pioli spoke to Sky during the build-up for the game agains Torino, and his comments were relayed by MilanNews.

“It’s a match to be faced with concentration and determination. Giroud? He’s emotional, he’s given a lot, we’ve been with him a lot, we’ve had experiences together. He’s approaching his farewell with emotion,” he said.
