Ex-Marseille coach Largeut: Kante deserves his France call - he has his 20 year-old legs back!

Saudi Arabia technical director Nasser Larguet is delighted seeing Al-Ittihad midfielder N'Golo Kante land a recall to the France squad for the summer's Euros.

The Chelsea great was named in the Les Bleus squad yesterday.

Former Marseille coach Larguet told Eurosport: "From the start of the season, as soon as I arrived, I was struck by his intensity.

"It's incredible, after last season at Chelsea where he was so often injured, he had regained his 20-year-old legs.

"In a region where the climate is not always lenient, with the heat and humidity, Kant is capable of playing matches of 90 minutes or more at high intensity. He didn't come here pre-retirement, he is very involved, he was even captain of his team.

"The choice of Didier Deschamps is very objective, N'Golo Kant deserves his selection, he is at his best level."
